I used to shoot everything with a 4x5 press camera. No viewfinder, automation or instant feedback. Just a simple light tight box. I had it mentally dialed in and that was a very satisfying way of working. After extensive traveling, and constant struggles with TSA resulting in fogged film, I retired the camera. Fast forward a few years later and I recently found a box of 4x5 negatives that I have never really looked at. I am edited through them and will post some images soon. Above are examples of earlier work. I am rebuilding a 4x5 camera, so stay tuned to future postings.
